St. Gertrude Track Program invites families from the following parishes to join the 2017 Bulldog Track Program:

Participant Qualification:A child must be an active member on one of the parishes listed above and enrolled in either the parish school, home schooled or in Religious Education

Meets are on Saturdays - a few of the 7-8th grade meets are held Friday nights. The meets are structured as follows:
Grades K-4
Meets are Saturday mornings. Instructional in nature. Running events include 50m, 75m,100m 200m and a 400m relay. Field events are: Softball throw, long jump, (High Jump & shot put for 3rd & 4th)
Grades 5-6
Meets are Saturday afternoons. Longest running event 1600m, Field events are Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, and Discus
Grades 7-8
Meets are typically Friday or Saturday evenings. Longest running event 1600m, Field events are Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, and Discus

Assistant Coaches & Parent Helpers Needed: No track experience needed! In order to provide an adequate coach/athlete ratio and to comply with the Archdiosese Virtus rules we are in need of a assistant coaches at each grade level.
