Cost $80.00 (Late Fee of $25 after January 31)
   

Registration  

Registration closes February 6, 2022.  Registration not paid in full by this date will be assessed a late fee of $25.  Any player with outstanding fees will not receive a team uniform until all fees are paid in full.

Practice Begins

TBD - Mid - Late February

Season The regular season (10 games) runs from March 14 - May 6, with the postseason tournament the following week. Games will be on weeknights. Teams will play in the GCCYS leage. Teams may also play in additional tournaments hosted by city parishes.


Player Qualification: A player must be 1) an active member of the St. Gertrude parish in good standing in addition to one of the following:

                            - enrolled at St. Gertrude School

                            - enrolled and actively participating in the St. Gertrude Religious Education program

                            - be home-schooled

2021-22 Boosters Membership


 

The St. Gertrude Athletic Boosters fee is a once a year, per family fee.
Joining Boosters is required of each family prior to participation
in St. Gertrude sponsored sports programs.  These fees help to subsidize individual sports registration fees,while allowing the organization to purchase and maintain equipment. It also funds the scholarship program and SportsLeader. Payment of the Annual Booster Fee allows for free admittance to all St. Gertrude home sporting events.

2022 St. Gertrude Bulldogs Track 
 

The St. Gertrude Track Program is open to ALL students in Kindergarten through 8th grade from the following parishes/schools: St. Gertrude, All Saints, Good Shepherd Catholic Montessori, St. Michael's, St.Ursula Villa, Nativity, St. Vincent Ferrer, Cincinnati Waldorf School and St. Mary's. Our program is also open to those students who are active parish members of the schools listed above in Religious Education or home schooled.

Practices are held at Madeira High School and Camp Dennison Memorial Park:
Grade Time Days
K thru 4th TBD

Practice will be held two days a week.  It will be any combination of Mon., Tues., Wed. or Thurs. evenings.  Days may vary from week to week.

5th thru 8th TBD

Practice will be held two days a week, some weeks there will be a third practice.  It will be any combination of Mon., Tues., Wed.,Thurs. evenings. and Saturday mornings.  Days will vary from week to week.

 

Meets are on Saturdays for K through 6.  For the 7-8th grades, meets will be held Friday nights and Saturdays afternoons/evenings.  The meets are structured as follows:

Grades K-4 Meets are Saturday mornings.  Instructional in nature.  Running events include 50m, 75m,100m 200m and a 400m relay. Field events are: Softball throw, long jump, (High Jump & shot put for 3rd & 4th).
Grades 5-6 Meets are Saturday afternoons. Longest running event 800m, Field events are Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, and Discus.
Grades 7-8

Meets are Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons/evenings.  Longest running event 1600m, Field events are Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, and Discus.

Assistant Coaches and Parent Helpers Needed: No track experience necessary! In order to provide an adequate coach/athlete ratio  we are in need of assistant coaches and parent helpers at each grade level. Please prayerfully consider helping kids this Spring.  
 
We also welcome anyone with experience in track and field events to help out at a throwing/jumping clinic during practice.  Please contact coordinator if you are able to help.
